Where Is Bure Cottage

Bure Cottage is located within the exclusive Peninsular Marina by the banks of the River Bure at Wroxham, known as the gateway to the Broads. The cosy and comfortable self-catering cottage is south facing with stunning views from the lounge and bedrooms of the working Marina, River Bure and beyond.  


Wroxham
Wroxham is where boating holidays began in the late-1800s. A bustling, pretty village on one bank of the River Bure. The 400-year-old bridge and village centre is just 5-minutes stroll. With ,pubs, restaurants, fish & chips, cafes, a launderette, the famous Roy's superstores, McDonald's and two railway stations. One is on the mainline to Norwich and Yarmouth, and the other is the delightful narrow-gauge Bure Valley steam railway to Aylsham. 


An ideal holiday location just 8-miles from the fine City of Norwich and 10-miles from Norfolk’s sandy beaches.


Bure Cottage Specification
The double glazed cottage is suitable for breaks at all times of the year. It sleeps four and the price includes electricity, heating, hot water, wi-fi, towels and bed linen, parking and everything you would expect from a well-established self-catering cottage except toiletries.


Rental Periods
Minimum rental for Spring to Autumn.is 3 nights  Off-season it is a minimum of 4 nights. Prices are very competitive. Sorry, no pets or smoking.


Living Room
Samsung 40-inch flat-screen TV, two leather sofas with cushions, two electric thermostatic wall panel heaters. Stunning view of the marina, River Bure and beyond. Free fast Wi-Fi.

Kitchen
Open plan kitchen and lounge area, with folding table to seat four. Four element induction hob, oven with integrated grill, microwave, toaster, refrigerator. Generous cookware & kitchen utensils, kettle, coffee cafetiere, cups, mugs, glasses etc.



Double Bedroom
Comfortable double bed with all linen and duvets, bedside cabinets with draws, lamps and USB charging sockets. Built-in cupboard with additional drawers and hanging space for storage. Electric wall panel heater, extra heater and throws in cupboard. Wall-mounted television. 

Twin Bedroom

Peninsular Gardens, Wroxham
Outside
 Enjoy the tranquil lawned waterside frontage from the outside seating area where you can watch swans, geese and ducks going about their daily lives. Herons and  can also be seen. In the evening, unwind with a bottle of wine while gazing at the wildlife and boating activity on the water.


Fishing is possible from the majority of the site during the season. Watch boats chug by, hire your own - or take a river cruise on one of the many trips among Britain's largest protected wetlands. Magical waterways and broads dotted with quaint unspoilt villages, windmills and old riverside pubs to explore. It is a paradise for nature lovers.

Please note that there is no public slipway on site so unfortunately it is not possible to launch your own boats.
